This is a heritage unit that formerly worked the Tunbridge Wells – Hastings line in Sussex, and this working was tour originating from Hastings. More information about this unit can be found at www.hastingsdiesels.co.uk.
This was not as good a shot as I'd hoped for, mainly due to vegetation and the fact that there was construction work going on near the bridge (looks like an extension to Evesham Marina). That saying, it was more successful than my attempt to photograph the return working (which for once was routed via the Cotswold line rather than via Gloucester and Swindon) which failed due to lighting and vegetation issues at the location I had chosen.
