This is on the older of the two Battlefield Trails (which I will refer to as "Battlefield Trail 1") which runs in the area between the The Squires and Worcester Road, just northwest of Evesham.  The tower was built in 1842 and is dedicated to the memory of Simon De Montfort, the leader of the 2nd Barons' Rebellion of 1258-1265, and who was killed at the Battle of Evesham.

This view was taken just south of the entrance to the trail, and is looking south.  This is probably the least enclosed view of the tower, and because I was facing into the light, I chose to take this photograph on an overcast day in early spring.
