This was my second trip to Gloucester in August. I had seen some of the pigs on my previous trip, but didn't become fully aware of their significance until I did some research after I got home. I then decided I wanted to try and photograph as many of the pigs as I could, but for various reasons, I didn't return to the project until the Bank Holiday weekend, when I decided to visit Gloucester again to try and photograph the pigs before they were removed and auctioned for charity at the end of the summer.
