Evesham Medieval Market 2020
Photographs from day 2 of the event. The Covid-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the August 2020 "Battle of Event" re-enactment event, but under the safety regulations in operation in September, this event was permitted to go ahead. For the most part, it took the form of a street market, but there were some living history re-enactors set up in St Laurence's Churchyard, and this collection contains photographs of some of those.
I did two relatively short sessions, one mid-morning and another in early afternoon of the Sunday. The second session could have resulted in disaster for me, as I didn't set the camera up correctly and thus the exposure levels for those photographs were - at the basic level - wrong. However, the camera did at least partially correct the JPG images, and a little further work with Paint Shop Pro fixed the remaining issues.
The combination of the two sessions worked out to be the most photographs I have taken in a single day since last September. At present none are for sale, but I will consider requests, and I may be prepared to release copies to the organisers of the event if they contact me.
[As a result of index page rebuilding in 2021, I've dropped three photographs for formatting purposes]
