Evesham Medieval Market 2021
Photographs from the 1st day of the event, taken over two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. This was in a similar theme to the event of 2020, but slightly expanded, with some displays being held on the site of Evesham Abbey (which was open to the public). The weather in the days leading up to the event had been somewhat wet, but for the most part the rain held off over the weekend (the Saturday was perhaps better than the Sunday), although it was overcast a lot of the time (which actually worked to my advantage in some cases).
Again, this collection has ended up rather biased towards the swordfighting, although because of the state of the ground, the fighting was perhaps not as intense as it had been in 2020. If the weather had been a little better on the Sunday, I might have attempted another session with the archery, but in the end I felt that it was a bit too unsettled and overcast for I wanted to do.
