Battle of Evesham Heraldry
As part of the run-up to the 2019 Battle of Evesham Re-enactment, a series of shields displaying the heraldry of some of the participants of the battle could be found at various locations in Evesham Town Centre.   The shields were made by Sue and Mick Hurst, based on research conducted by Carmel Langridge and the late John Kyte of the Vale of Evesham Historical Society.

I photographed 39 of the 40 shields in 2019.   The shields were re-displayed in 2020, at which point I was able to photograph the shield I'd missed in 2019, as well as rephotographing some of the others.   As a result, 20 of the 2019 photographs have been replaced in 2020.

As is my normal policy on artwork, none of these photographs will be made available for print purchasing without permission from the artists involved.
