One of the photographs removed during the HTM5 upgrade of this collection was one of Swanage Pier, taken from the seafront. This was shot as a replacement, although in this instance, I am looking more or less in the opposite direction, from the path to Peverill Point.
The pier is actually Swanage's second one. The remains of the first can be seen just in front of it.
This image was reworked in April 2021, partly because I wanted to familiarise myself with the new version of Paintshop Pro I'd purchased, and partly because I felt that the original version lost some of the detail on the pier.
